Goal's successor in Canada appears to be Cyrod. I'd simply try to drop an e-mail with a request to both Ramtron and Cyrod. There's nothing to lose: the worst thing which may happen is silence. This might be one of the cases against unpublished proprietary programming algorithms, even if they are in-situ... :-( But I just have looked at my favourite (and local) parallel device programmer manufacturer, Elnec, and they appear to support the VERSA1000; and I bet some other device programmer do so too. You might also try to ask them whether there is some lock scheme preventing readout of already programmed chips - as a factor in deciding to purchase their product, I think this is fair. JW |
