#167238 - Standard 6V lead-accid accumulator of 4-7Ah Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Not so much energy needed. At 6V, the initial current would be 18 amp when the filament is cold, but the resistance will rise at 300°C.
A small 6V lead-acid battery of 4-7Ah can have an inner resistance of 20mohm and support 20A+ continuous current from fully charged and all the way until it reaches 4V, where you have to end the discharge to not damage the battery. |
