Assembler is wrong, C is wrong, Assembler is right, C is right.
All the above could be correct in context, but taken out of context makes no sense. The "assembler issue" is NOT whether to code in assembler or C (or Pascal, or BASIC, or ACME or Fido) but that, when working with a '51, some knowledge of the workings of the hardware is requied. I have yet to see the "workings of the hardware" explained in 'C' and do thus state that for efficient use of a '51 assembler knowledge is required regardless of which language you code in. Erik |
