What exactly do you mean by "it doesnot work"

What have you checked?

Have you checked BAUDRATE / No of Bits etc... of transmitter & receiver is same?
Is your RI flag getting set anytime?
Have you checked if you are receicving anything at all?
Are you sure you are getting "0a" correctly? "0d" correctly?

Can you point out the problem(May be you yourself will get a solution in this process)
