#165067 - I2S
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Gang,

The CEL parts have I2S which is well done but linked to their RF stuff. Some of the NXP parts have very limited I2S.

You don't really need a ton of macro cells to do I2S. You can use a single shift register and a couple of clock dividers but you would really have to sit on top of it keeping it full.

I need between 21 and 39 macro cells from what I have seen.

The new Cyan eCog1x could do all this but I paid for the keil compiler and have a lot of the source code already done in 8052 since I am porting the application from a TI/BB TAS1020 and want to goto USB 2.0.

Thanks
Gordon
