what does we are using a DIO card for monitoring data on the ports (P0-P4)... this is based on LabVIEW have to do with "RS232 is NOT multidrop".
1) are you doing multidrop (more than 2 connections to the serial wires)? if you are, you can NOT use RS232 if you are not, have you studied the MAX232 datasheet 2) sample code is TOTALLY WORTHLESS if you can not code the thing yourself, no "sample code" will fit and if if you are not able to code the thing yourself, you can not understand the "sample code" well enough to modify it to make it fit your purposes.
