#161832 - 89V51RD2 Code securtiy problem |
Hi All,
We are developed a project after three months of effort using 89v51RD2. Before final shipping we just set its security bit, and tried to read code to our surprise it could read code from device. I am using Flash Magic, Later reading in data sheet I found searil no should also be set for MCU for security bit to work in ISP mode. I also set that but still can read code using Display Memory Option. Please let me know how can we lock our code to save from piracy. we also have All-100 parallel programmer, We tried using that for burning final hex file and erasing bootloader, but device can not work. Actaully If We can getrid of bootloader in our shipped devices, and us parallel programmer. I think in this way can solve problem of reading code through ISP. Or any suggestions to make our firmware secure from piracy. Regards. |
