HI!
I am a novice( in uC's), and here's a simple task that I intend to complete. I wish to check wether all the port of the IC that I am going to purchase are functional. So I intend to write a program , which will generate square waves on all the ports.Very simple indeed.
But here's my problem: ( before you proceed would apreciate if you read the note at the end)
1.I MUST use an AT89c51. is it that I need a specific type of assembler, for the code?
2.I am positively certain that the IC is not ISP , implies that I need to use external H/w that will allow me to burn that hex file into the IC.
Could someone be kind enough to guide me as to how I could acheive my goal? any links or tools that are available that would assist me .

NOTE : I did search the 8052.com archives and previous question about similar queries.Quite frankly it has not helped me.
I did also visit the atmel website , but beside specific data sheets about the IC , could not get any information about HOW to burn that HEX file .

For AT89C51..there's at Wichit Sirichote website...

With TTL only or with easy downloader.

Thank's
Jeckson Ben
