The $MODxxx are only mom-standard includes for "header" files which contain definitions for SFRs, nothing more. You can do without any at all, if you supply all the EQUs needed to access the SFRs.
You can take the MOD52 file, make a copy of it with the name you want (MOD53 or whatever), and add the missing SFRs yourself - there are only a few extra SFRs in the AT89S8253 as compared to a standard 8052. JW |
