This is the highest ever rainfall recorded in Bombay during 31 years. The last time it was around 700mm in 1974. this time it has grossed 900mm in the suburbs.
Now, the water has receded and people are yet trying to get home from offices. Many have stayed the night at the office / on the platform / friends places. Trains are just now limping to normalcy. Yet, not running the full run from Churchgate(Town) to Borivali(Suburb). Jerson |
