#190169 - PSoC3 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The Cypress PSoC3 is 8051 based. The PSoC approach is unique in that it allows you to configure almost any input/output configuration by means of built in blocks. One such block is the RTD module which allows you to configure in software for range, linearization and 2/3 or 4 wire RTDs. In fact it will allow you to dynamically change from 4 to 3 to 2 wires if and when the RTD wire breaks (apparently a problem on windmills). It also has a large number of analog inputs.
Here is one of their app notes http://www.cypress.com/?docID=46579 |
