Erik Yes.. I was referring to the SCL. Even a slave SCL needs a maximum spec, but so long as it is below that, it should not matter. Not many systems clock stretch SCL, but those that do, may have a lower max. My example was to show that the maximum can sometimes be lower than we think. i2c specs go to 3.4MHz (and even 5MHz in a special case) these days. |
