#189490 - Doesn't bode so well for AVR...? |
Alf-Egil Bogen, co-inventor of the AVR microcontroller, has joined Energy Micro as chief marketing officer:
http://www.newelectronics.co.uk/electroni...cro/48149/ Commenting on the appointment, he said: "I have a strong passion for microcontrollers and radios. After helping to make AVR a very successful business for Atmel I wanted to work more with the ARM cores, which are the industry standard for 32bit embedded microcontrollers". If the 'A' from "AVR" wants out of his own invention, what does that say...? |
