#189392 - C++ FAQs (2nd edition) Responding to: ???'s previous message |
This is a weighty tome aimed at coders who want to write 'correct' C++. The good thing about it is that each topic is started from absolutely the bottom in a clear manner. The consequences are explained and the correct way of coding is then explained.
It's not aimed at novice programmers, so there is no coverage of basic variable usage, simple C operators, conditionals and looping, or all the sort of stuff a C programmer should know. It also doesn't cover code optimisation, but then I think correctness is more important than optimisation. |
