Generally, it's more important to know and describe what you do need rather than what you don't. There are many ways to "skin a cat."
Have you looked at http://homepage.cs.uiowa.edu/~jones/step/ ? That will provide you with a number of options. Unipolar steppers are pretty easy to drive, though it can be handled in a number of ways. Jones describes these ways and what's important about each. You can decide how much you want your MCU to do and how much you want to handle in dedicated hardware. RE |
