Noise need not be an issue, with slow relays.
But there may be a need for protection from very strong spikes on the signals. And a possibility of very big voltage differences between controller board and relay board, depending on how they are powered. That is why it is important that the board is designed for industrial use - EMI filters as low-pass filters and diodes to clamp overvoltages. |
