#187927 - Password in EEPROM
Hi,
I am designing electronic lock for small safe. I got sample of one safe and it uses 89C51 and EEPROM 93C46, this is used for storing a four digit password.
I keyed in four digit password then I removed the 93C46 which contains password and replaced it with blank one, after switching on the system it was giving error signal, it means apart from password it also stores some data so it can recognized EEPROM.
Now I am designing the lock system using PIC16F886 and with changes in control logic and latest components. Since this PIC has inbuilt 256B of EEPROM. I want to know what prosecution required for this?
Please tell me logic to make safe more secure and easy. Suggestion required.
