They treat their low-volume customers pretty well, which justifies some extra cost, but octopart.com will find the lowest prices from among the sources that list with them, particularly with "mature" parts. Often I see a 10-to-1 or even greater spread there, and it's interesting to note that they list DigiKey and Mouser among their sources. It's not always clear, however, at what quantity they're expressing the price. Usually an email will settle that.
