#187374 - ground fault Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Arif,
A ground fault should refer to one of the critical circuits (detection or reporting) shorting out to ground. Building infrastructure, structural steel, electrical conduit, plumbing, all of these tend to be tied to ground, either by design or by the nature of the system, and thus there are many opportunities for alarm circuits to short to ground. Since this could interfere with the normal operation of the system, it is a condition that should be monitored for. Joe |
