Please guide me on Labview.

I need to display 24 temperatures on the PC. I have a PLC with modbus. I am new to Labview, but I have been advised to use Labview for displaying and reporting.

1. How much does it cost to buy a Labview development environment to handle inputs and display them on pc, and may be control some outputs? Can I buy the student version and do this? Do I get the dials and gauges for display, or do I need to buy them separately?

2. To deploy the application to multiple PCs, do the users need separate licences? If yes, how much does it cost per PC deployment?

3. How easy is it to develop apps in Labview?
