What I could imagine would be special USB hubs that perform the function of a USB host (including supplying power to connected devices), but only for allowing the various devices attached to it to communicate with each other. Since pretty much all cellphones are charged over a USB connected nowadays, this type of hub could be combined with the cellphone charger. This way, you can charge your phone and use USB memory sticks/keyboards/mice/etc. |
