The typical permanent magnet brushless motor will take a lot more to drive it that simply just connecting between a voltage rail and ground. The answer as to whether a BLDC motor will be a help to you will depend on quite a few important factors. Some of these would include ability to design a BLDC phase driver controller, cost of including a controller and driver FETs for the motor, added wiring to connect the multiple motor phases and hall cell outputs up to the system. There are surely other factors to consider as well. By the way, practical personal experience has shown that interfacing any types of motors and other sensitive electronics circuits is a challenge and may take iterations of a design to find a satisfactory solution.
