#181846 - Not only for PCAD Responding to: ???'s previous message |

I would not even try to migrate libraries and designs from one tool to another. Maintain a machine with the old software so you can access the designs. Not only for PCAD- I have at least 4 machines dating sequentially back to ~1995. Also it is not only the hardware to support the software. We also have test jigs and instrumentation built around the ISA bus and it can get complicated when one of them goes down. Actually a bigger problem is the rust in the brain cells! |
