#180691 - Training can do wonders Responding to: ???'s previous message |
With enough training, you can manage almost anything.
But it takes huge amounts of training. Our brain can redefine its thinking patterns if it sees enough incentives. Some people are born natural, but if you enjoy something or you don't get food unless you manage, then the brain will prioritize adaptation. It's the same thing with programming as with designing a PCB. Without enough million lines of code written, you no longer think language keywords or individual source lines. You think concepts, and let the fingers produce the text. When I write a source line in the editor, I'm already many steps ahead and considers potential corner cases etc. Some people enjoys manual routing since they enjoy beautiful layouts. Why bother with crosswords when they have all these layers to fill with intelligent routes? In the end, few people needs to be really magnificently good just to get food on the table. So most people who gets really great gets all their incentive from doing something they really like. Constant, positive, rewards for the brain. That's probably one of the reason why lots of software developers may sit for huge number of hours in a row, without even noticing hunger. |
