#180426 - circuit breaker Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Many years ago I worked on a breaker similar to your requirements, but based around LON. The product never made it to market for several reasons, one of which was that we were refused the patent since there were other patents existing, so I assume ther must be product on the market, and I would look at all the industrial circuit breaker manufacturers. At the time I seem to remember Telemechanique were working on something (now Asea Brown Boveri I think) and I think Allen Bradley.
Definitely ETA were working on something. They seem to have a product line described here: http://www.e-t-a.com/fileadmin...n_1_08.pdf This may not be their only offering since my experience was from 15 years ago, or more. Another option is to use a breaker with a remote on/off capabilty (through an on/off type signal) and add your own controller. Making your own circuit breaker could prove problematic if you are looking for agency approvals. -Aubrey |
