#179694 - Code Library listings unformatted |
This past August 29th Erik had posted:
"in a thread this codelib entry was referenced http://www.8052.com/codelib/c...D%20Based) when I open it (IE) I get a mess with no line separation a small extract: "CHK_BUSY MOV A,#'*' LCALL SEND_DATA LCALL " anyone know the reason? I have no need for this code, but would like to know what to do if the same happens with something I need Erik" This post is now locked so I had to open a new thread. I have had similar problems with many other files from the Code Library, with all the lines run together without any formatting. Today I stumbled upon a feature In Windows (mine is Vista Home Premium 64 bit) Menu Bar - the one that has File Edit View etc. Clicking on View one of the items in the drop down is SOURCE. When I clicked on Source while a garbled code file was open a new tab appeared in my task bar. I clicked on the new tab and there was a new page of properly formatted code, from the previously garbled one! I tried this on as many code library files I could find that came up garbled and each came up clear. I'm not sure if this will work in every case or on other versions of Windows but so far it has been a much easier way of getting clear, formatted results. Happy Holidays, everybody! Hal |
