They are a really good pcb manufacturer. They offer coupons for free expedites or free 2 day shipping for repeat customers. I must say I am quite proud of their abilities to create boards. When time is a constraint, these people understand that you needed it yesterday. As far as the free software goes, the package deal that they offer is slightly beneath paid software. The main disadvantage of using their software is that they are the only board house capable of interpreting their files. I would highly recommend a person just beginning to create pcb boards to use this software to get a feel of playing a chess game with themselves. Eventually, I would move to a paid software, such as Eagle, to learn more about the process. Sunstone also offers a DRC for Eagle to make sure your design is capable of being produced.
