#175541 - PC to TV video cable |
I have a laptop and it has a VGA port ( 15 pin male stuff)
I have a TV that also has a VGA port.( 15 pin male again) The distance between TV and PC is 4 meters. Trying to use the TV as a monitor. Used a 5M long VGA-VGA cable. It worked yesterday. Today morning it did 4 times out of ten. Where as if I use the regular 1m long PC-Monitor cable, it always works. Going crazy over this. Is 5m too long for the VGA driver in my PC ? Can I buy one of the VGA-Composite video converter and use it instead ? Or since the TV and my notebook both have HDMI ports, can I get a 5m long HDMI cable ?? Can someone tell me what to do ?? Thanks. |
