It's a really neat idea for simply adding a colour graphic HMI to a "low power" microcontroller without burdening the microcontroller with any of the graphics stuff!
The idea is that you set up the screens with their PC tool, load it into the module, then the microcontroller communicates with it over a simple UART interface. This obviously makes it rather expensive - but ideal for low-volumes where the work of doing all this yourself would swamp the actual microcontroller function!
