Some people in cycling clubs like to play games.If you have a chairman who never rides with the club and is a bit of a manegment consultant and he likes to play games too well.. you can imagine the rest.A lot of people don't bother with clubs for that very reason, too much politics and so on.They just do their own thing mostly its no problem because Sunday rides with clubs are very slow affairs not exactly what you need when training for racing.

I was a vicitim of these political games myself but rather than it stopping me riding it gives me more incentive to do well.
