Understand that you initilize Lcd and then write code to it, but do not understand the comparsion to composite video? That really depends on what specific "LCD" you are talking about. Or, more importantly, what type of controller is built-in to it... I think what you really want is an LCD monitor? Building your own LCD monitor from scratch is a major undertaking - it requires a detailed understanding of both the LCD and video signals.
