#172171 - what **** browser is it? Responding to: ???'s previous message |

One big difference is that with a link, it is possible to right-click and save.
When I paste an address, I can't control the result - my browser thinks that it should open word directly, but I may prefer to save to file. I HATE software which attempts to THINK and TAKES CONTROL from me. I learned long ago that browsers are not to be trusted to open other files than they were designed for. If it goes through some plugin stuff, the worse. .pdf, .doc - they all save as files by default on my setups; I then decide what application to throw them at. JW |
