Keil C51 is a standard ANSI 'C' compiler - so you need to start by learning the basics of the standard 'C' programming language!

OF course, there are certain details specific to embedded programming in general and the 8051 in particular - but you need the language basics first.

Once you have the language basics, you will need to study the C51 Manual to see what specific extensions it provides to the standard language:
