#169023 - I used it for a long time in traffic lights controllers
Responding to: ???'s previous message
For a long time i used for real traffic lights controllers:

- Resistor of 150K 1/2W
- Small bridge
- 4N32 (darlington optocoupler)

Used for 220V 50Hz (now 230V official)

For the red lamp i used this and an small totoidal current transformer and two opamps connected to an analog imput to test the current and the voltage.

It works fine for years in the real world. [with no car cashes ;-) ]

Be carefull, you need both verifications to ensure the real state in the lamp.
