Hi,
Sometimes it is really hard to name some components, tools in English (specially related to Electronics, since we deal with them more). Happens to me time to time and nothing would help at that moment. For a simple meaning I have to direct about 5 sentences of speech to possibly transfer the name. Like Needle-nose pliers : 
The word by word translation of the name of the tool above in Farsi is: Narrow head Consider that I want to ask my friend to give me the plier and I do not know what's it called in English. Instead its a lot easier to just go and get the plier by myself. Farshid |
