#167357 - A hobbyist can always reuse a MAC from a NIC he owns
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Not reuse as in having two devices with the same MAC.

But if you get 100 old network cards from eBay and use these MAC addresses while throwing away the network cards, then you would have 100 unique addresses as long as the cards bought was not cheap chinese copies with pirated MAC addresses.

An alternative here can be to scan the IANA list and call around, trying to find a company that is willing to donate a series of 100 MAC addresses. But this can be quite hard to do in vacation times.

And because of vacations, synchronization with factories etc, I will not be able to release a 100-series for you.
