#164995 - Yeah, I have... sort of... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have it working on both my laptop (2-core running windows Vista-32) and on my office system (4-core windows vista-64), however, the tricky one was the office system.
I researched PSDSoft issues with ST and found out that the software is only intended to run on upto 32-bit operating systems. That said, when I installed Windows Vista-64 on my new office system, I was screwed. I ended up running a virtual machine (vmware) on the office system, and loaded Windows-XP Professional 32-bit operating in that system. PSDSoft loaded fine there, and I am able to assign a USB port to that virtual machine, so Keil will communicate with the ULINK as well... The one thing I haven't tried is the ST utility for manually programming the device. I use the IDE from Keil to talk to my upsd3334D, and all seems fine here... Hope this helps, -db |
