... as several of the machines I still use do then what was true of the PSU in '89 is still true of that same PSU.
Those old ISA boxes last forever. It's the more recent ATX machines that "die" an early death, though my own experience has been that it's the fans that die. I've still got and still extract useful work from the first PC I ever bought. It still does precisely what it was intended to do. RE |
