It is a very interesting document - and, as norms usually are, it is written in such an idiotic way that nobody except those, who already knew what does it talk about, would understand; presumably to make it sound more "scientific".
However, it deals with what follows AFTER the "AT", only briefly touching the existence of "AT" at all. Particularly, all what is said about autobaud (and baudrate as such) is contained in chapter 4.3; of which all said aboiut autobaud is, verbatim: "V.250 chapter 4.3" said:
It is desirable that the DCE be able to accept commands and automatically detect the rate being used by the DTE at all rates supported by the DCE on the DTE-DCE interface. Not of much help, is it? JW |
