Why not pipe the output of the tool to a text file? Then use a text editor (or automate with a stream file editor) to replace the annoying long paths.
Another common way to deal with long path noise is to make use of a drive SUBST to replace a path on the hard drive with a drive letter. Used properly this can significantly shorten the paths required in command lines and reflected in tool output. Michael Karas |
