The PWS740 appears to be discontinued, but the MAX253 looks interesting. My client has a downer on Maxim due to a history of delivery problems, but I'll consider it. Although they say it runs at 3.3V, there's no data to back it up!
Your winding suggestions don't work out for me, as even 50 turns will give an inductance of 6500 uH. My test royer circuit used 20 turn primaries, which should be about 1050 uH. The trouble is that there are too many things to fiddle with. |
