Thanks for your reply. The start bit handling is the problem, the theory of RC5X says tha the second start bit i.e. S2 is the command bit six but it has be to be inverted as for the compliance with the old RC5 protocol it requires that only 14 bits to be transmitted.The start bit 2 is 1 for old RC5 and 0 for RC5X. Hence we need to invert this bit and use it as command bit 6. Also on one of the sites it stats that we need to add 64 to the command when the sa bit 2 is 0. Kindly let me know if I am making any mistakes in understanding the protocol. Regards |
