#160303 - AT89C51RD2 Pin Compatibility with 80C51 |
Hi ,
I'm having one board which has 80C51 (44 Pin PLCC) microcontroller and it executes code from external EEPROM.I want want to change the microcontroller to AT89C51RD2 (44 Pin PLCC) . I want to know whether AT89C51RD2 (44 Pin PLCC) is Pin and code compatible with 80C51 (44 Pin PLCC). I went through the data sheet of AT89C51RD2 which says it is • 80C52 Compatible – 8051 Instruction Compatible Does it mean it is code compatible with 80C51 but not pin compatible ? Thanks Sanjay |
