I tend to agree with Michael and disagree with Steve.
I am no "Analog Eagle" and my Analog lingo is a bit rusty, so some verbiage may be wrong, but if both inputs are tied to ground the output will reflect the input offset which is temperature dependent. Thus if the input offset happes to drift to zero and you have an open loop gain of a million or so a drift in the offset of a microvolt will make the output swing. I think the important thing for making an op amp quiet is mini gaining it or latching it. Erik |
