#157521 - Single-point table border elements Responding to: ???'s previous message |

Why not mention a bit about it here?
And what version of Firefox? 2 or 3? FF 3 seems to suffer from some minor ailments. I'm working with the latest version of Firefox 2, but the problem has existed as long as I've been working on the new site. I have to assume it's a problem with my CSS code. Very briefly the problem is that I'm formatting tables with CSS and the "borders" separating cells in the table should be a single pixel wide, blue color. In Firefox I find that sometimes that single-pixel border just disappears--especially the vertical borders, but sometimes the horizontal borders as well. Scrolling the page vertically sometimes (but not always) makes the borders re-appear/disappear. The width of the border is specified in pixels, not a percentage, so it shouldn't be a matter of a percentage number of the total width being rounded down to zero width. In addition to Firefox I'm also testing with IE6, IE7, Opera, and Safari for Windows--but the bulk of my testing is in Firefox since that's what I used on a daily basis. As far as I know the problem has only been observed in Firefox. Regards, Craig Steiner |
