#156845 - Imagination is wild... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Well I think there were some wild things in my approach :
- I am gathering the samples at 2.5kHz rate and 125 samples/ch once every 50mS. If I am to act upon a particular alarm value in the signal, then eventhough I am collecting it at 2.5kHz, my "effective" sampling rate is only 20Hz. I now realize that it is very a bad idea to try and get a single point representation of that 125 samples and do the comparison. Best is to collect the array of 125 samples as such, analyse the whole data and then strip out the particular value that matches a criteria. ( If you are interested in the particular waveform : It is the pressure pulse that happens on a pump delivery, when the outlet is totally blocked. Normally the pump delivery is almost a DC signal, but the rate of rise when the outlet is blocked exceeds 100 Bar/ Sec - and I am supposed to catch THAT peak !) Thanks raghu |
