#155814 - GPS accuracy misleading? |
The spec gives approximate data for accuracy,
CEP95= 1.8m. This is static accuracy ,I want to ask what about the Dynamic accuracy as people afterall move with the GPS receiver. How can one interpret what accuracy could he achieve at any given instant of time. Say we get a clear sky view and GPS receiver is capable of tracking 20 satellites. I want to ask what good does this figure do other than misleading someone, as the 1.8m may arise from an integration of plenty of samples and for many hours? -Ap |
