"Distilled water is acidic", indicating a complete lack of understanding of water chemistry. Water in contact with the Earth's atmosphere contains dissolved CO2, which disassociates into a weak acid. H2O + CO2 -> H+ + HCO3- Which is why you can only maintain 18.3 megohm lab grade DI water in a closed environment. |
