We use 8052s as a sub-processor to control configuration with our automatic number plate reading cameras, in addition to using 32 bit coldfire and arm processors and a lot of programmable logic to perform the signal processing. Part of the job involves going out to test sites on various motorways to modify the cameras which isn't very much fun, especially when its raining. |
