Take, as a first, two slaves where the only difference is the last bit in your ID number (the shorter ID you can live with, the better) that is easy to calculate. That will give you the basic idea, then add one where only the penultimate bit is different. This will be worst case, in reality things will go faster.
The thing is that you must, for the sake of speed, make the "inquiry record" and the reply recors as short as possible. to SAFELY detect confilicts, you need a CRC included in the ID. Erik |
